Donating runningshoes
to Kapchorwa

Uganda has another economic reality than Europe. That’s not breaking news. But the reality stretches so out compared to us that even kids and young adults who grow up in a unique envrioment and have the potential to make a professional carreer don’t even has shoes. This while the amount of unuesed pairs of running shoes here in Europe is way bigger than you think.

So that’s how my first project around Kapchorwa and Uganda got started: my bachelor project called ‘Givshu’.

So the question to you is: do you still have a pair of running shoes witch is (still) in a good condition and that you can miss? Don’t hesitate and donate them. And so, we give your shoes a spot on the feet of the  world- and Olympic champions of tomorow.

From there I take them with me on my next visit to Uganda, to hand them over at the Joshua Cheptegei Development Foundation, Sebei College or the Kwoti Primary School,  the former school of where champions as Joshua Cheptegei, Stephen Kiprotich and Charity Cherop started from.

Contact me or bring your shoes to one of the two branches of Addict in Antwerp.
